Handle Cultural Differences Using AI-powered Simulations
NC State University

Learn how to practice a complex case in your manager training: multicultural teams

Opportunity

The Global Leadership Program needed to simulate a common dilemma arising in projects with multinational and multicultural teams: frustration due to cultural differences.

Solution

A 360 video of a meeting followed by a deeper conversation with an Indian manager from the meeting named Kashul, played by an AI character. A real-time AI-powered assessment provides feedback on the discussion with Kashul.

Outcome

The participant gave an average NPSscore of 8.5.

"The resulting experience gives students a sense of presence and being (visually and audibly) that differs from traditional media forms." - Mike Cuales, Head of Media Innovation, NCSU
